Bright Up Launches Germany’s First Entertainment Darts League “The Last Flight”

A new era at the oche begins on April 7, 2026: with The Last Flight, Germany’s first-ever entertainment darts league brings together competitive sport and premium entertainment in a completely new format.

The innovative concept aims to combine high-level competition with dynamic entertainment elements making darts more accessible, emotional and engaging for a broad audience. All matchdays and the Grand Final will take place in Berlin and will be broadcast live and free of charge on Pluto TV.

Germany’s No. 1 player, Martin Schindler, joins the league as official ambassador. “I’m very excited to be part of The Last Flight. I’m fully convinced that darts as a sport will greatly benefit from this concept,” says Schindler. “You can feel the passion for darts across everyone involved. Alongside great entertainment, we’re looking forward to top-level performances and a fantastic competition.”

Eight Matchdays, One Grand Final & Live from Berlin

The inaugural season features eight matchdays plus a Grand Final. All events will be held at XPERION at Alexanderplatz in Berlin.

Each matchday sees eight players compete for their respective teams in a knockout format, collecting points toward the overall standings. The top four teams qualify for the Grand Final, which takes place on June 2, 2026. Matchdays will be held weekly on Tuesdays, starting April 7.

The player lineup includes influencers, content creators, and well-known entertainment personalities, blending competitive ambition with strong community reach.

“Gamebreakers” Add a Unique Twist

A core element of The Last Flight is its innovative “Gamebreakers.” Each team can activate one Gamebreaker per match, introducing strategic and unpredictable moments.

Two examples:

Sudden Bull – A successful hit on the bullseye instantly wins the leg.

Freeze Line – Double and triple scores no longer count for a defined period.

Additional Gamebreakers, the full player roster and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks.

Live & Free on Pluto TV

Fans who can’t attend in person can experience The Last Flight from home. Pluto TV serves as strategic partner and will broadcast all matchdays and the Grand Final live and free of charge. The matches will be hosted and commentated by the team behind the successful darts podcast TOPS TOPS TOPS: Adrian Geiler, Fabian Dippold, and Max Meintz who also regularly appear in coverage of the Professional Darts Corporation and on DAZN.

Strong Partners On Board from Day One

“The league was born out of passion for darts and from within the community itself,” says Marco Niemann, Managing Director of Bright Up GmbH, the company behind the league. “Our goal is to create a stage that presents darts in a modern, entertaining and emotional way. We are building an ecosystem of partners and players who want to help grow the sport sustainably and make it even more popular.”

In its very first season, The Last Flight already welcomes a strong portfolio of partners. Founding Partners include Pluto TV and HOLY. Additional partners include MediaMarktSaturn, Holzkern, Comedy Central and BULL’s. All partners will be prominently integrated both on-site in Berlin and across the league’s live broadcasts and social media channels. The Last Flight kicks off on April 7, 2026 – bringing a new dimension of darts entertainment to Germany.
